Sherrie Oliver,
Barbara Greenfield was born into wealth, and a lot of it。 What more could she want? Parents who loved her, an only child who would inherit everything。 And she did。 Her parents died, and she was completely alone。 She didn’t enjoy having everything at her fingertips, not knowing how to do anything that she felt was important, just in case she had to rely on only herself and lost everything。 So she decides to be incognito and head west。 She chooses Daisy Creek, where the railroad has built and the Barbara Greenfield was born into wealth, and a lot of it。 What more could she want? Parents who loved her, an only child who would inherit everything。 And she did。 Her parents died, and she was completely alone。 She didn’t enjoy having everything at her fingertips, not knowing how to do anything that she felt was important, just in case she had to rely on only herself and lost everything。 So she decides to be incognito and head west。 She chooses Daisy Creek, where the railroad has built and the town is growing by leaps and bounds。 She figures she can “get lost” in the crowd and maybe nobody will judge her for her wealth。 Zion Callaway is a rancher, he has dairy cows and supplies the town with milk, often accepting traded goods such as food for his milk。 He is a good and Godly man, helping his neighbors whenever they need it。 Barbara and Zion meet, and sparks fly。 They are very much alike and also very different in that she is rich and he just gets by。 Barbara decides to work at various places in town just to get experience, to learn how to do laundry, cook, anything she feels she may need to do as a potential wife someday, or just to take care of herself。 She plans to build a house in town and be self sufficient。 This is a very good book, I love how the characters are written。 Every Daisy Creek book has been excellent。 Hope you enjoy the ride。 。。。more

Zena,
Delightful!Oh, I wish I had that kind of money! This story is written around two very endearing characters who meet and fall in love。I would probably also have kept the secret that Barbara kept from Zion and for the same reason too。The story reads well and quickly and I enjoyed it tremendously!I read an Advance Reader Copy (ARC) of this book and my voluntary review is recorded above。

Kathy,
Really enjoyed reading more about the citizens of Daisy Creek。 This story is no exception, with heartwarming characters and a storyline that leads you through the development of their relationship。 And there’s always a HEA!
Jenna,
3。5 starsI started reading this series b/c it was based on the mail-order bride trope and I'm sucker for that one。 But as the town of Daisy Creek has evolved so have the stories。 (not mail-order bride exclusive anymore)I've enjoyed watching the characters develop along with the town。 The RR has finished building and there have been many changes with Daisy Creek。 But as the writer uses the town as an example of how the West was expanding she doesn't lose the enchantment of the characters & storie 3。5 starsI started reading this series b/c it was based on the mail-order bride trope and I'm sucker for that one。 But as the town of Daisy Creek has evolved so have the stories。 (not mail-order bride exclusive anymore)I've enjoyed watching the characters develop along with the town。 The RR has finished building and there have been many changes with Daisy Creek。 But as the writer uses the town as an example of how the West was expanding she doesn't lose the enchantment of the characters & stories。Barbara is the newest settler and she meets Zion who runs a small dairy farm。 The relationship develops slowly yet the narrative moves at a good pace。A sweet story w/great characters。 。。。more
